The Back in Black Tour ran through 1980 in support of the album of the same name, released on Atlantic on 25 July 1980. It was Brian Johnson's first AC/DC record and tour after Bon Scott's passing in February that year, with Angus and Malcolm Young, Cliff Williams and Phil Rudd holding the rest of the line-up. The Highway to Hell touring engine rolled into that tour cycle.
