Omen landed as the lead single from Fever (April 2010) on Jive / RCA, the Bridgend-formed band's third studio album fronted by Matthew Tuck alongside Michael Paget, Michael Thomas and Jay James. The album pushed BFMV out of the Scream Aim Fire (2008) thrash-inflected metalcore cycle into cleaner modern-metal songwriting and set the visual language for the touring-era graphics that still run through the band's catalogue merch programme.
