Foo Fighters started in 1994 as Dave Grohl's post-Nirvana studio project, released their self-titled debut on Roswell / Capitol in July 1995, and grew into the six-piece touring machine that still fills stadiums. The Classic Photo design pulls from a black-and-white band press shot, the sort that ran on album inner-sleeves through the late-Nineties press cycle.
