Motley Crue came out of Los Angeles in 1981 with the classic lineup of Vince Neil, Nikki Sixx, Mick Mars and Tommy Lee, pushing the Sunset Strip glam-metal register into the arena era across Too Fast for Love (1981), Shout at the Devil (1983), Girls Girls Girls (1987) and Dr. Feelgood (1989). Xmas Crue reworks the band's wordmark and pentagram visual language into a December-slot design that keeps the strip-club-decadent register intact while giving the seasonal rotation a piece worth wearing.
