Soundgarden formed in Seattle in 1984, five years ahead of the grunge wave they'd later be filed under, and the band's discography leans heavier into Sabbath-scale sludge than the grunge tag lets on. The Logo Swirl graphic runs the band's typographic identity through a spiralling flourish, one of the more decorative renderings the Rockoff catalogue holds of the Soundgarden marks. Blue base tips it toward Superunknown-era sleeve palette.
