Blondie's wordmark dates to the band's Bowery and CBGB years in the mid-1970s, the brushed-script logo that fronted Plastic Letters and Parallel Lines as the band moved from downtown New York punk into the pop crossover that followed. The Punk Logo version of that mark holds the brushed lettering and the underline stroke, run as a single bold print across the front of the bag without modernised colourway treatments.
