Dead Kennedys came out of San Francisco in 1978 and shaped American hardcore across Fresh Fruit for Rotting Vegetables (1980), Plastic Surgery Disasters (1982) and Frankenchrist (1985), running Jello Biafra's satirical politics through Winston Smith's cut-and-paste sleeve art. The rectangular band-name patch is the identity mark that has run on every sleeve since.

The cap comes in a black colourway on a cotton crown with the patched wordmark on the front and an adjustable rear strap, cut for a one-size unisex fit.
