Misfits formed in Lodi, New Jersey in 1977 around Glenn Danzig, Jerry Only and Doyle Wolfgang von Frankenstein. The Fiend skull is lifted from the 1946 Republic serial The Crimson Ghost, adopted for Walk Among Us (1982) and stamped across the catalogue from Static Age (recorded 1978) through Earth A.D., American Psycho and beyond.
