Stormtroopers of Death came together in 1985 as a side project of Anthrax's Scott Ian and Charlie Benante alongside Dan Lilker on bass and vocalist Billy Milano. The band's debut Speak English or Die landed on Megaforce Records that August, running the crossover-thrash template that shaped the following decade.
