Type O Negative came together in Brooklyn, New York in 1989 out of the Carnivore lineup, cutting Slow Deep And Hard in 1991 on Roadrunner Records. The catalogue ran through Bloody Kisses in 1993 and October Rust in 1996 as the band's gothic-doom register locked in.
