Opus Eponymous, released October 2010 on Rise Above Records, was Ghost's first studio album and the moment the Swedish band's entire visual identity was set in place: ghoul-masked Nameless Ghouls flanking the original Papa Emeritus, drawing a clear line back to seventies occult-rock theatricality. The artwork distilled here onto a wall-scale textile carries the same gothic gravitas as the original gatefold.
