Bad Omens formed in Richmond, Virginia in 2015 around vocalist Noah Sebastian. The band signed to Sumerian Records for their self-titled 2016 debut, followed by Finding God Before God Finds Me in 2019, then broke through with 2022's The Death of Peace of Mind, whose title track and "Just Pretend" pushed the band onto Billboard's alt-rock rotation.
