CBGB & OMFUG (Country, Bluegrass, Blues & Other Music for Uplifting Gormandizers) was the Bowery NYC venue at 315 Bowery, opened by Hilly Kristal in December 1973. The room hosted Television, Patti Smith, the Ramones, Talking Heads, Blondie, and the rest of the early American punk and new-wave scene before closing in October 2006. The Classic Logo design carries the era's awning artwork onto the chest.
