Bowie played Earls Court on 12 May 1973 to a 20,000-strong crowd. It was the first UK arena show at that venue and one of the last of the Ziggy Stardust / Aladdin Sane touring cycle before the abrupt Hammersmith Odeon retirement on 3 July that year. Aladdin Sane (April 1973 on RCA) is the record that soundtracked the run.
