The dancing bears descend from Bob Thomas's back-cover illustration on the July 1973 History of the Grateful Dead Volume One: Bear's Choice live compilation, the album titled for Owsley "Bear" Stanley. Green is the mid-tone colourway of the marching line, cut wide for jacket-back or tapestry-wall placement.
