The band takes its name from Pink Floyd's second album A Saucerful of Secrets (1968), and the Spiral motif reads as a callback to the psychedelic-era Floyd visuals Storm Thorgerson helped invent. Since 2018 Mason has led the outfit on repeat runs through the pre-Dark Side catalogue: Interstellar Overdrive, Astronomy Domine, Set the Controls for the Heart of the Sun, with Gary Kemp and Guy Pratt among the current lineup.
