Pink Floyd played Carnegie Hall on 26 April 1971 as part of the American leg of the Atom Heart Mother tour, ahead of Meddle's release in November of the same year. The poster art has since become a collector piece in its own right, a fixture of the band's early-70s pre-Dark Side visual identity when Roger Waters, David Gilmour, Nick Mason and Richard Wright were still cutting their live sound around the psychedelic underground circuit.
