Slayer formed in Huntington Park, Los Angeles in 1981 around Tom Araya, Kerry King, Jeff Hanneman, and Dave Lombardo, and the inverted-pentagram visual register tracked the band from Show No Mercy (1983) onwards. Reign in Blood (1986) and South of Heaven (1988) cemented the band's thrash-metal foundation. The pentagram print here is the long-running emblem.
