Yellow Submarine arrived as a Beatles animated feature film in July 1968, with the four band members sketched into the Pepperland psychedelic universe by art director Heinz Edelmann. The film bridged the studio era between Magical Mystery Tour and the White Album in the band's late-60s catalogue.

The backpack carries a spacious main compartment with a zip-fastening front pocket, an internal padded laptop compartment with a padded base, and a side bottle pocket.
