Abbey Road landed on Apple Records on 26 September 1969 as the band's eleventh studio album and the last one they recorded together. Iain Macmillan shot the zebra-crossing cover in one ten-minute session on 8 August 1969, four Beatles walking single-file across NW8 in the order that would end up defining the record.
