Jamie Reid drew the Sex Pistols' cut-and-paste ransom-note logo out of newspaper letter fragments for the 1976-77 single sleeves, a design idiom he carried through Anarchy in the UK (EMI, November 1976), God Save The Queen (Virgin, May 1977) and the Never Mind the Bollocks LP that October. The word-mark has stayed the band's canonical identity for nearly fifty years, and this tee carries embellished detailing on the print.
