The Sound Of Perseverance is Death's seventh and final studio album, released in August 1998 on Nuclear Blast with a lineup of Chuck Schuldiner, Shannon Hamm on guitar, Scott Clendenin on bass and Richard Christy on drums. The record closed a run that started with Scream Bloody Gore in 1987.
