Kim Bendix Petersen formed King Diamond in 1985 after Mercyful Fate's first split, and the solo band's face-painted horror-metal identity has run on the same visual constants ever since: the corpse-paint face and the stacked logotype. The patch pulls that logo into a small woven square that works as shorthand on a jacket back for the whole King Diamond catalogue.
