Gods of Violence landed in January 2017 as Kreator's fourteenth studio album, the German thrash outfit's first record to reach #1 on the German charts after more than three decades in the genre. The sleeve art turns Christian iconography inside out with sword-and-crucifix imagery, and the patch lifts a fragment of that layout into a small woven format that reads on a jacket back.
