In Utero landed in September 1993 as Nirvana's third studio album with Steve Albini in Pachyderm Studios, Minnesota. Kurt Cobain and Robert Fisher art-directed the sleeve around the anatomical angel figure; the record ran Heart-Shaped Box, All Apologies, Rape Me and Serve the Servants across a Nineties grunge landmark.
