Bradley Nowell, Bud Gaugh and Eric Wilson formed Sublime in Long Beach, California in 1988 and cut the West Coast ska-punk register through 40oz. to Freedom in 1992, Robbin' the Hood in 1994 and the self-titled Sublime record in 1996 with the singles Santeria, What I Got and Wrong Way. The circle-logo has been a shorthand mark across every subsequent Sublime reissue and merch cycle.
