Killers was Maiden's second LP and Paul Di'Anno's last as vocalist before Bruce Dickinson took over for The Number of the Beast. Derek Riggs's Killers cover ran Eddie down a back alley swinging an axe, the same skeletal mascot that has anchored every record sleeve since. Here that image takes the centre of the strap.
