Somewhere in Time is Iron Maiden's sixth studio album, released September 1986, the first Maiden record to feature guitar synthesisers, the album that produced "Wasted Years" and "Stranger in a Strange Land", and the LP whose Derek Riggs cover featured cyber-punk Eddie set against a futuristic cityscape filled with hidden references to the band's past.
