Rock and Roll Over was released in November 1976 on Casablanca, recorded at the Star Theatre in Nanuet, New York, and produced by Eddie Kramer. It carried the singles "Hard Luck Woman" and "Calling Dr. Love" and gave the band their second platinum-certified album of 1976.
