Cobo Arena '76 commemorates KISS's mid-1970s run at Detroit's Cobo Arena, the venue most associated with the band thanks to the Alive! live album recorded there in 1975. The 1976 dates fell on the Destroyer / Spirit of '76 tour, with the band by then a full-blown arena act. The design draws on classic 1970s tour-poster typography, with the Cobo venue and 1976 date in centred lockup.
