Master Of Puppets landed in March 1986 on Elektra as Metallica's third studio album, the cemetery-cross sleeve carrying the title track, Battery, Welcome Home (Sanitarium) and Disposable Heroes across the band's run from the 1983 Kill 'Em All debut onward. The James Hetfield-drawn band logo first commissioned for the 1982 first single carries across the album sleeve and the Mini Backpack print.
