The Wall is Pink Floyd's eleventh studio album, a Roger-Waters-led double LP released November 1979, with all sleeve and stage animations by satirical British illustrator Gerald Scarfe. The album was adapted into the 1982 Alan Parker film and supported by the legendarily-staged Wall Tour, where a literal wall was built between the band and the audience over the course of each show.
