The sun-face motif is a Long Beach and SoCal ska-punk staple, sitting alongside the MCA catalogue built through 40oz. to Freedom (1992), Robbin' the Hood (1994) and the self-titled Sublime record from 1996. Bradley Nowell's tenure with the band ran up to his passing in 1996, and the sun-face artwork is the fan-shelf graphic Sublime supporters have carried through the following decades.
