Abbey Road landed in September 1969 as the Beatles' eleventh studio album, the sleeve shot by Iain Macmillan on the morning of 8 August 1969 outside the EMI Studios on Abbey Road. The crossing has run on tour kit and merchandise across every decade since, here recoloured into a small-repeat motif for the all-over print.
