Revolver came out in August 1966 with a Klaus Voormann pen-and-collage sleeve, the record widely credited with pulling the Beatles from touring pop into full studio experimentation. The crystal-embellished title lettering catches the same graphic weight the original hand-drawn Voormann typography carried.
