Sgt Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band arrived on Parlophone in June 1967 and became the studio-only reset that took the London group off the road and into full concept-album territory. Peter Blake and Jann Haworth built the sleeve as a life-size cutout collage; graphic designer Joe Ephgrave hand-painted the fairground bass-drum head that gave the album its title mark, an image that has stayed almost as recognisable as the front-cover crowd shot. The tee pulls the drum-head graphic into a chest-front print with room around it.
