John Pasche drew the tongue-and-lips logo in 1970 for Rolling Stones Records and it debuted on the inner sleeve of Sticky Fingers in April 1971, going on to become the most reproduced band logo of the twentieth century. The Flowers Tongue variant floods that same silhouette with a floral fill, tying the graphic back to the Between the Buttons / Flowers-era LP art the band was running at the tail end of the sixties.
