The red-white-blue target became The Who's visual handshake when Pete Townshend, Keith Moon, John Entwistle and Roger Daltrey adopted the RAF roundel during the mid-60s Mod boom, stencilled onto parkas and stuck on Lambrettas before it ended up screen-printed onto the band's shirts. The badges hold the design across the set.
